BIG, Bold and Beautiful, with the perfect temperament
gorgeous confirmation and a pedigree to match, his sire titled
&imported from Germany. Bubba mother was one of the best dogs
our ranch has ever had-with the love equal to 10 dogs/the heart of
100 lions.
We called her Shadow-she was just always there in our shadow
just in case she was needed-She saved my son from a Pit Bull attack
as well as so many other times she was needed
She was the Perfect family friend.
Absolutely everyone that comes to the ranch is charmed by
Bubba and he has lived through an ordeal that make us all love even
more

A lady truck driver was making a delivery with a large semi down
at my barn
She was flirting with my X husband - She was not paying attention
Bubba had laid down by the X next to the semi, she ran over part
of Bubba’s head
he was in a horrible state-indescribable pain-blood everywhere
the X was coming to the house to get a gun to put him down
I could not have my Bubba put down like that I got him in my Explorer
to do the right thing
put him out of his misery humanely. My vet knew how much Bubba meant
to me
I had bred German Shepherds for about 15 year to finally have a
Dog Like my perfect Bubba
The Vet told me there was a chance he could be saved
I took the chance, but by 4:30 pm the vet called told me they could
not stop the bleeding
Bubba’s only hope was to get to the specialty hospital down
in San Diego
Sadly the Specialty Hospital veterinarian had seen many injuries
as
extensive as Bubba's and gave me little hope
Saying most dogs with so much damage turn vicious with pain
Bubba had his nose broken in 3 place, his jaw was broken at the base
the roof of his mouth was flattened, one eye was completely crushed
the other eye damaged--it was horrendous
Bubba’s mouth would have to be rebuilt, wired shut for nearly
a year
driving most dogs crazy -- Only one out of over 2,000 dogs would
mentally & physically make it through all the procedures
The Veterinarian did not want to take the chance of Bubba
becoming vicious at the Veterinarian & Veterinarian Technicians
Finally the vet agreed to take him over night and watch him for 24
hours if Bubba turned mean he would put him down immediately-Before
the 24 hours the Vet called with hope
Bubba had been perfect for them-letting them do whatever they had
to do
Bubba still had a long road to go through – But there was hope
Bubba had what it took to start trying to save him.
It would take over a Year -- Over $20,000.00 -- 4 Surgeries &
8 Procedures
Numerous trips to San Diego -- Bubba lost one eye
dropped from 135 pound down to 79 pounds
I had to tube feed him for over 6 months
only being able to feed him a maintenance diet
So it was almost a year before he could start putting back on his
weight
Bubba got better and better and better
IT WAS ALL WORTH IT--I THANK GOD FOR HIM EVERY DAY
He puts that heart into all of his puppies. Bubba is pure love
He is my GENTLE GIANT -- He is truly what I am breeding for, for
so many years
